+ queerness is action
the creative endeavor of living in queerness is inherently expansive and disruptive. this is a love note + promise to the gay agenda of queering every space inhabited through joy + love as a creative act. sometimes it results in tangible things to gather, love, and pass on.
sometimes it means coming together under a full moon or bright sky to feast on the abundance of life as one community. come be a part of creating the world we need to belong, thrive, grow, heal, and mend.
it was an idea, that then became a domain name, grew into an identity, and now an entity with a website. knowing what it can become is for us to find out beyond html.
love + joy must be central in our lives if we hope to live honestly and earnestly. boxes cut us up into pieces or commodities and functionally separate fulfillment into a privilege for some, with varied conditions of compromise and theft of agency for everyone.
this space expands beyond the defined to encompass the “what if” and other flickerings of human spirit and hope. here we discredit constructs of “deserving,” of white supremacy, patriarchy, ableism, capitalism, colonization, heteronormativity, and all other unacceptable compromises. we claim our full humanity, creatively + together, and we’ve got nothing to hide.
this is one story of approach + action. make something of it together if that sounds good to you.
